Julie Philip has a deep passion for creating, especially with fiber. An avid knitter, crocheter and knitwear designer, you can find her patterns available on Ravelry. Julie is a fiber artist working with dyed wools in the craft of needle felting and nuno felting. Julie is also a sculptor with wool, making animals using the needle felting technique. She also creates the Waxhaw annual yarn bomb/fiber installation every Spring.
Julie teaches beginner sweater classes and special interest projects. She also does 3D Sheep needle felt workshops at Tangles.
